Yorkshire Provender has extended its Favourite range with new Chilled Sauces.
The new Favourite Sauces line includes three flavours – Tomato & Mascarpone with Wensleydale cheese, Classic Carbonara with Smoked Bacon, and Provençal Vegetable, RSP £2.20.
The range is suitable for use with fish, meat and vegetables is an extension to the three Favourite Soups range, launched in November.
Yorkshire Bolognese and Fountains Gold Cheddar Cheese will be added to the range in February.
Pizza Hut USA launches gluten-free pizzas
Pizza Hut is offering gluten-free pizzas, available as cheese-only or pepperoni at selected restaurants nationwide.
Udi’s Gluten Free will provide the crust.
The gluten-free crust will be kept in a designated gluten-free kit inside each restaurant, as will the cheese, marinara sauce and pepperoni.
All Pizza Hut workers preparing the gluten-free pizzas will wear gloves, bake the pizza on parchment paper and use a designated gluten-free pizza cutter.
The pizzas will be placed in pizza boxes featuring the Udi’s gluten-free crust for delivery.
Kepak announces new Rustlers products
Kepak Convenience Foods has announced a multimillion-pound investment to double sales in the convenience channel in the next three years. The micro snacks supplier has targeted annual sales in the convenience sector of £66 million by 2018.
The move follows the launch last year of Rustlers Super 6 – a range of Rustlers top-selling SKUs all price-marked at £1.99 which already accounts for more than 40% of all sales within the micro-snacking market of 60 SKUs.
“Rustlers has evolved and has attracted lots of new consumers, so much so that 40% of Rustlers consumers are female and the age profile of Rustlers’ consumers now stretches from 16 to 34-year-olds.
A sustained NPD programme sees the introduction of two panini products to the Rustlers range along with a limited edition, £1 PMP ‘Hot and Kicking’ range.
Kepak will also be aiming to boost Rustlers’ popularity as a ‘food to go’ favourite with the introduction in 2015 of a ‘cook in pack’ range which will include the Quarter Pounder and Bacon Roll.
Ten Acre launches new Popcorn range
Creators of Ten Acre premium hand cooked crisps have unveiled a new addition from Ten Acre village.
The new range is gluten, dairy and MSG free as well as vegan and vegetarian.
Ten Acre have created the popcorn in five new varieties – Cornelius Popperley’s Sour Cream & Chive, Captain Theodore’s Lime & Sea Salt, Cousin Maisie’s Fennel & Lemon, Ambrose Popperley’s Wasabi and Aunty Winifred’s Sweet & Salty.
Patchwork Pâté launches Mushroom Marmalade collection
Patchwork Pâté, has launched its new collection of Mushroom Marmalade – a relish packed with mushrooms, caramelised onions and shiitake.
This range of mushroom relishes are designed to be suited to enhance any burger, whether vegetarian or meat.
They are also recommended served with cheese, cold or hot meats or even just on their own on a slice of toast for a tasty light supper.
The new collection starts with the original Mushroom Marmalade, followed by the Jalapeño chilli version that has a chilli kick and rounded off by the Oak Smoke version that has a smoky flavour.
